Musab Alam
Director + Senior Physiotherapist

Musab is the Practice Director and one of the Senior Physiotherapist’s. He founded Multifidus Health as a solo practitioner from his garage back in 2015 (formerly known as Sefton Physiotherapy and Fitness Studio). Over the years Musab has facilitated the growth of the clinic and brought on more practitioners to help with the increased demand for Allied Health Services within the local community.

He now balances his time between managing business operations and treating clients part time. He is available for Hejama bookings online.

Vic Tharmarajah
Senior Physiotherapist

Vic is one of our senior Physiotherapists and he joined the team early in 2019. He manages our NDIS clientele, geriatric population as well as our sports coverage. Vic has years of experience in a variety of different Physio settings and has worked at multiple clinics across Sydney. Vic has also worked as a volunteer Physio in rural villages of India and Fiji. He is currently completing a Masters in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy en route to becoming a specialist titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.

Ahmed Mahmood
Physiotherapist

Ahmed is one of our full time Physio’s. He joined the team in 2020 and has grown rapidly ever since. Ahmed treats all musculoskeletal injuries both acute and chronic through different treatment options including manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription and wet cupping. He is also multi lingual and can speak both Arabic and Turkish. Away from the clinic Ahmed is an avid fisherman.

John Labiano
Physiotherapist

John is also one of our full time Physio’s. John joined our team in 2021 after graduating with a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. John has a wide range of experience in private practice as well as sports physio coverage and has spent many hours as a team physio for local sporting clubs. John is also available for consultations out of the clinic (at your local gym or in the comfort of your home). Away from the clinic John enjoys powerlifting in the gym.

Ruby Tran
Exercise Physiologist

Ruby is our ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist. She began her journey in the health and fitness industry as a Personal Trainer back in 2015 gaining a wide array of experience and consequently went on to become an Exercise Physiologist graduating in 2019.

Ruby has been a part of our team since early 2020 and is an integral part of our clinic. She works out of our clinic gym and specializes in the rehabilitation of both acute and chronic injuries through exercise-based intervention programs. She can also assist individuals with specific goals such as weight loss, power lifting, strength and conditioning and sport specific training. Ruby has a keen interest in the role of exercise in women’s health. She has also served as a sessional academic at the Australian Catholic University.

Fatima Yousif
Podiatrist + Hejama Therapist

Fatima is our Podiatrist and Female Hejama Therapist. She joined the team in 2020. She has a wide array of experience as a Podiatrist having worked in hospital settings, nursing homes and private practice. She assesses and treats all general conditions of the lower limb and foot for people of all ages.

She has a special interest in pediatrics and has recently completed a post graduate course in children’s health with The Sydney Children’s Hospital. She is also a qualified Hejama Therapist and has a special interest in the role of Hejama for Women’s Health. Away from the clinic she enjoys strength training at the gym.

Zeeshaan Ahmed
Practice Manager and Physiotherapy Assistant

Zeeshaan is our Practice Manager and Physiotherapy Assistant. He started with us in early 2020 and has played an important role in optimizing the day to day running of our clinic. He is currently in his final year of Sport and Exercise Science at UTS and has a vision to complete his Masters in Physiotherapy. Away from the clinic, Zeeshaan plays in the NSW Premier Cricket competition and is a first grade batsman for Bankstown District Cricket Club and has also represented NSW U19’s in recent years.

Salem Sabouni
Service Manager and Physiotherapy assistant

Salem is our Service Manager and Physiotherapy Assistant. He started with us in 2020 while completing University placement and consequently went on to join our team. He plays an integral role in the daily operations of the clinic and is in charge of ensuring a great customer experience for all of our clients. He has recently completed his Bachelor of Health Science and will be completing his Masters in Physiotherapy.
